Pack-Trade company regularly integrate innovative technologies and supply advanced equipment to its customers. One of most innovative projects of Pack-Trade company was to provide livestock farms with a number of comprehensive solutions for manure application.
Each farmer faces the problem of organic waste utilizing, because in dairy and pig farms, the production of basic products - milk and meat - produces a large amount of waste.
As one of the alternative solutions that allows to consider manure not as a waste but as a valuable organic fertilizer, Pack-Trade company offers a new kind of service - mixing and application a liquid fraction to field using a hose system. This method allows to pump fluid from the manure pit and supply it to the distance up to 10 km directly to the fields and to put it into the soil with the help of applicators, both for soil and for surface application. This system allows quickly, efficiently and ecologically safely add manure to the soil, significantly reducing the cost of mineral fertilizers, reduce the mineralization of soils, save on fuel and fertilizers, continuing tractor's life. Using the equipment with pumping productivity at least 2000 cubes a day, even the large volumes manure pit - 20 000-30 000 cubic meters could be pump out faster - only for a period of 10-15 days.
Starting in September 2018, Pack-Trade has begun providing this new kind of service. The first farm on the way to manure utilization was AF Pishchans'ka (Kharkiv region, Krasnohrad district, village Dobren'ka). On the farm with 3,000 heads of cattle, there were two lagoons with a capacity - 20,000 Cubic meters, which were completely filled. There was a task in the shortest possible time to make mixing and pumping of manure, with subsequent transfer to fields located within a radius of 2.5 km.
To complete this task, Pack-Trade Company sent two semi-trailers with equipment, that included:
- A.TOM 15 lagoon mixer-pump - 15 m long, with a unique low nozzle location, equipped with hydraulically raised telescopic racks;
- the mobile pump-diesel station A.TOM 275, consisting of the engine Cummins 275 hp and a Cornell 4 NHTB centrifugal pump with productivity - 250 mc / h;
- flexible hoses with 200-meter pieces produced by Norwegian company Mandals - total length 2.4 km;
- hose caddy with a capacity - 11 pieces of 200 m;
- A.TOM Slurry Applicator 7 DS injector applicator for soil application;
- Applicator A.TOM for surface application, consisting of a boom with two plates;
- Hose blowing equipment: Ingersoll Rand air compressor, blowing bowls.
The first step was the mixing of manure using a lagoon mixer A.TOM 15 - 15 m long, with a unique low nozzle arrangement, which allows to lift massive layers from the bottom of the film, break them under the pressure of the liquid and mix the contents of the lagoons to the homogeneous mass. Despite the fact that in the manure pit there was a decomposed manure of cattle, precipitation of the solid fraction at the bottom was significant. Under the influence of lagoon pump-mixer after 30 minutes of work, we made a homogeneous mass.
This mixer-pump is aggregated with a tractor - 250 hp and is capable to operate in a mode from 540 to 1000 rotations. Equipped with two pairs of wheels mounted on hydraulically raised telescopic racks, the mixer was submerged in the lagoon and began to perform its direct functions. Due to careful and qualitative mixing of waste, the number of solids residues were decreased at the bottom of the manure pit.
Meanwhile, the ATOM 275 pump station was installed at the edge of the lower point of the manure pit, the suction hose was submerged in the lagoon, and with the help of the hose caddy, 2 km of hose were unwound and laid to the field. The last stage of preparation for the pumping process was the connection to the tractor 345 hp Slurry Applicator 7 DS for soil injection. This unit is equipped with 7 Dietrich colter, capable to apply liquid to an adjustable depth up to 15 cm with a capture width - 5 meters.
Fertilizer was applied to fields with plant residues of soy for the next corn sowing. With the productivity of the pump-diesel installation - 200-230 cubes per hour and with the speed of the tractor with the applicator in the field - 5 km per hour - the rate of input was 100 tons per hectare, as well as the feeding of medick, introduced 100 tons per hectare.
For surface application, was used an applicator A.TOM with two pouring plates, capable to distribute manure to a width up to 11 meters. This complete set of equipment allowed to bring from 1300 to 2 600 cubes of liquid per day working 8-10 hours. The productivity can be affected by many factors, such as moving the station around the perimeter of the manure pit, transferring hoses from field to field, logistics and the availability of the necessary equipment on the farm, etc.
Manure utilization is a rather difficult task that requires experience, knowledge and special equipment for work with manure. If you need quickly and qualitatively free the manure pit or lagoons from the manure, call the number that indicated on the site.
