Pins provide safe operation of loaders, tractors, bulldozers, excavators together with various types of attachments. The pin is inserted into a bushing that is fixed in the boom, handle, bucket, which connects the machine parts. Pins for loaders: where is it used and how to install?

• Pins, depending on the place of installation and purpose, can be of different types:
• Pins that connect the arm to the excavator-rotating platform.
• Pins for connecting the excavator arm to the handle.
• Pins for attaching operating mechanism to the handle (buckets, plows, etc.).

We use high-strength structural steel with additional hardening. The robust bucket pin is “soft” inside: this feature protects it from mechanical stress. The final stage of manufacturing is polishing, which minimizes friction with the bushing. 

Our service team could make the installation of the pin, but if you need to replace it immediately, you can do it by yourself, following the next steps:

• Remove bolts/nuts or other fixing elements.
• Kick out a pin.
• Check the bushings for damage and defects.
• If there are no defects, mount the pin and lubricate it.

When the bushings are damaged, it is necessary to do the following steps:

• Check the symmetry of the mounting bores. If there is damage or deformation, the bores must be repaired. 
• Make sure the bushing is installed correctly in the seat.
• Lubricate bushings inside for better pin mounting.
• Mount the pins, install the fasteners (bolts, nuts, clamps).
• Lubricate the unit through the available grease fittings.
• Check if there is no abnormal noise and excess load.

Important!

• The bore of the bushing must match the size of the pin. 
• Important! It is prohibited to use a hammer, ax, and any other devices.
