Storz couplings, designed in 1882 by Guido Storz, are used to connect hoses in various fields of activity, including agriculture for irrigation or applying liquid organic fertilizers. Storz couplings and fittings are usually made from brass, aluminum or stainless steel. To connect a Storz coupling, two opposing couplings are pressed against each other so that the hooks of each fit into the grooves in the flange of the other. Then they are being rotated in opposite directions until they tighten. This creates a watertight connection between the inner gaskets. To disconnect them, it is necessary to release the latches and to rotate the connectors in opposite directions from the connection, and then disconnected when the hooks and grooves are aligned. In stock we always have couplings or fittings of different diameters from 25 to 300 mm, which can be used to connect lay-flat hoses.
