From October 28-30, the International Exhibition Center hosted a meeting place for manufacturers, importers, and suppliers of machinery, equipment, materials, and ingredients for the food industry at the annual international exhibition Agro2Food. WorldFood Ukraine, the leading food and beverage exhibition, and inSKLAD, a unique exhibition dedicated to warehouse logistics, were also held concurrently. The A.TOM Group (Pak-Trade) also presented packaging technologies and solutions.
What was discussed at Agro2Food 2025
This year, the organizers focused on healthy eating, particularly in the context of the bakery industry. Speakers on this topic included company executives, professors, and the President of the All-Russian Association of Bakery Producers at the conference "Healthy Nutrition Technologies." The business forum "Grain. Pigs. Meat" discussed effective ways to create added value and alternative marketing channels to replace blocked grain exports. The forum brings together leading experts, producers, processors, equipment suppliers, and geneticists, and introduces innovations, current trends, and financial and technical development tools. Oleksandr Makarenko, a leading instructor at Quality Laboratory LLC, spoke about sensory analysis of products at the eponymous workshop.
New Packaging Solutions from Pak-Trade
Italian packaging quality has long been familiar to Ukrainian businesses, primarily thanks to the Robopac brand. Every year, we expand our range of new models and configurations to meet the needs of a dynamic market. During blackouts, the emphasis is on autonomy, so Pak-Trade has expanded its line of related equipment.
A brand newcomer to the market is Lady Pack, another Italian manufacturer of packaging equipment (shrink wrappers, automatic and semi-automatic packaging machines). High quality standards, reliability, and integrity—that's how the brand's founders describe their concept. Lady Pack shrink wrapping machines were available for viewing and even for purchase right at the Pak-Trade exhibit.
Each booth at Agro2Food resembled a mini-production facility: the equipment formed, mixed, and packaged products, demonstrating the entire production cycle right in front of visitors. This was a unique opportunity to familiarize yourself with the equipment's functionality, receive professional advice, and receive assistance in automating packaging processes.
