Description:
Lightning protection for an electric fence is a device installed on the exterior wall of a building on a non-combustible base before connecting the cable to the electric fence. It helps reduce the risk of equipment damage during a thunderstorm. To protect the electric fence from power surges and potential damage caused by a lightning strike, the electric fence cable must be connected through a special surge protection device (lightning arrester).
